The public tours give an overview of the conception and idea of the exhibition, point out the connections between themes, and offer a deeper look at particular points of emphasis. Tours for children are offered within the frame of the KID'S TURN on Sundays. Duration: ca. sixty minutes. For every exhibition there is a public TOUR FOR THE HEARING-IMPAIRED at which a sign language translator is present.
The public tours are free with a valid ticket for the exhibition.

TOURS FOR SCHOOL CLASSES
For primary, middle, and secondary school students as well as kindergartens and daycare groups the SCHIRN educational team offers general and thematic guided tours. Tours can be reserved by request in English, French, Spanish, Russian, or with an interpreter for sign language.
Conversations on selected works of art not only convey knowledge but also challenge children and young people to see things in new ways. In doing so, they not only learn to look and describe precisely but also how to formulate their own discoveries, make comparisons, and arrive at a personal judgment.
Areas of focus for individual tours may also be discussed by telephone.

ART AFTER WORK
Come to the SCHIRN after work! Every third Thursday of the month we offer you an inspiring evening with thematic guided tours followed by an aperitif in the SCHIRN CAFÉ. Beginning at 8 PM. This series also
takes place in the Städel Museum on the fi rst Thursday of the month.

KUNSTGENUSS
A proposal for older visitors. Chairs provide an opportunity to linger more comfortably and longer in front of selected works. After the visit, participants meet in the Schirn Café to discuss what they have seen while enjoying coffee or tea and a cake.
This series also takes place in the Städel Museum and Liebieghaus on the first and third Tuesday of the month, 3 PM.
